In September 2021, Hesai and Aiways signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The two parties will jointly explore the application of automotive-grade lidar for OEM-installed, series production vehicles. 

Hesai and Aiways will collaborate on subjects such as hardware equipment and software algorithms, striving to apply ADAS to a wide range of road settings. 

By using Hesai's latest generation of automotive-grade, hybrid solid-state lidar solution, Aiways will be able to achieve more sophisticated ADAS.

Hesai and Aiways will jointly explore accurate, safe and convenient ADAS technology, using automotive-grade, hybrid solid-state lidar as an opportunity to make innovation and breakthrough within the autonomous vehicles industry.
