Hesai Partners with Gausium to Equip Entire Cleaning Robot Line with JT Series Lidars
Hesai Technology (NASDAQ: HSAI; HKEX: 2525), the global leader in lidar solutions, announced its partnership with Gausium. Gausium is a leading company of AI-powered autonomous cleaning solutions with more than 6,000 customers in over 70 countries and regions. Under this partnership, Gausium’s entire line of commercial cleaning robots will be equipped with Hesai’s JT series 3D lidars.
As urban environments grow more complex and public-facility operations demand higher efficiency, cleaning robots are becoming a critical infrastructure. Industry research projects the global commercial cleaning robot market to reach $6.8 billion in 2025 and surpass $25 billion by 2034, growing at a compound annual rate of approximately 15.7%.

Gausium’s cleaning robots will integrate Hesai’s JT series mini 3D lidars, offering a 360° field of view and coverage of over 10,000 m² per frame. The JT series delivers rich 3D perception for precise spatial positioning, robust navigation, and reliable operation in large, open areas. It can detect small obstacles such as chair and table legs, enabling robots to plan smoother paths and maintain stable productivity even in highly dynamic environments, such as warehouses, factories, and shopping malls.


The JT series lidar ensures dependable performance even in complex, low-light, and high-traffic conditions, providing exceptional accuracy and efficiency for demanding industrial cleaning tasks. It also features lens-contamination detection, allowing robots to identify mud, rain, or other obstructions on the lidar cover and automatically return to base for cleaning or issue alerts. This proactive maintenance capability enhances system reliability and operational efficiency. As of November 2025, cumulative deliveries of Hesai’s JT series have exceeded 200,000 units.
