Hesai Unveils Mini Hyper-Hemispherical 3D Lidar JT64P, Advancing Next-Level Spatial Digitalization
Hesai Technology (NASDAQ: HSAI; HKEX: 2525), a global leader in lidar solutions, today unveiled the JT64P, the latest addition to its miniature JT Series lidar. Featuring an ultra-wide field of view and high-precision 3D perception, the JT64P powers the next-generation spatial digitalization across a wide range of applications.

Enabling Faster, More Effcient Scanning Performance
The Hesai JT64P is specifically designed for spatial digitalization in small to medium-scale environments. It features an ultra-wide field of view of 360° × 189°, a high point rate of over 1.15 million points per second, and a minimum detection range of 0 m.
JT64P’s 360° × 189° ultra-wide field of view enables capturing over 10,000 square meters in a single frame, providing complete coverage of large-scale floors, walls, and ceilings. This ultra-wide perception significantly reduces the need for repeated scans and simplifies spatial sensing in narrow or cluttered environments, improving operational efficiency.
With a high point rate of 1,152,000 points per second, the JT64P captures fine details such as surface textures and small objects, enabling high-fidelity spatial digitization. In indoor environments, it empowers handheld mobile scanners to efficiently acquire 3D data across floor plans spanning several hundred square meters, accurately capturing complex architectural features — including sloped ceilings, corners, beams, and columns — along with detailed material textures such as wood, stone, and metal. This capability enhances the quality of SLAM generation for applications including interior design optimization, construction planning, and industrial mapping, helping teams save time and avoid costly design or construction errors.

Precision That Brings 3D Environments to Life
The JT64P also incorporates next-generation laser transmit-receive technology combined with Hesai’s proprietary precision offset correction algorithm, delivering efficient and highly accurate point cloud tailored to the spatial digitalization market. Repeated testing shows that these optimizations improve perception precision by 30%, with a relative precision of <1 cm, delivering sharper, more detailed SLAMs while also saving time by reducing the need for repeated manual calibration.

Compact and Lightweight, Designed for Effortless Handheld Scanning
Weighing just 250 grams, the JT64P is light enough to enable handheld mobile scanning without the need for multiple tripods. Its compact, low-profile design allows for seamless integration, making it ideal for even the most space-constrained environments, such as narrow corridors or stairwells. The JT64P’s power consumption is only 9.5 watts, helping extend operational battery life.

Shaping the Future of Spatial Digitalization Applications
According to GlobalData, the spatial digitalization market is expected to grow rapidly — from USD 5 billion in 2019 to USD 154 billion by 2030. High-precision spatial digitalization powered by lidar is a key driver of this transformation. Hesai’s high-precision 3D lidar solutions are already deployed in 19 countries and used by more than 130 industry customers, further strengthening the company’s leadership in the market. Looking ahead, Hesai remains committed to delivering safe, reliable, and high-performance lidar solutions that power the next wave of intelligent spatial digitalization applications worldwide.
