As a Senior Customer System Engineer for ADAS at Hesai, you will play a pivotal role in managing technical requirements, translating specifications, and integrating electro-mechanical systems for our sensors across demos, POCs, RFIs, RFQs, and launch system applications. Collaborating closely with automotive OEM customers, you will ensure that Hesai meets and exceeds all product launch and vehicle integration Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Cultivate strong relationships with customer technical counterparts, acting as the primary point of contact for delivering specialized product technical insights, managing product specifications, communicating product changes, resolving intricate installation issues, and addressing customer requests.
• Establish local expertise in product, application, and technical knowledge to bolster OEM product support.
• Compare customer requirements and specifications with Hesai's specifications, identify mapping specifications and deviations, and ensure the final project scope is aligned.
• Analyze customer change requests, logs, and scenarios. Play an active role in customer meetings by presenting feature implementation details, change understanding, error comprehension, defining problem statements, root cause analyses, providing estimations, proposing possible solutions, and recommending optimal paths forward.
• Generate change requests for non-acceptable deviations, complete with a breakdown of customer requirements.
• Configure products based on customer needs, including parameter settings.
• Validate component installations and assess the system environment within the vehicle.
• Perform specialized tests upon customer request, such as system performance demonstrations.
• Lead technical investigations related to field and product performance, ensuring swift responses.
• Deliver test reports, and provide product features and performance training to customers.
• Obtain technical approval and integration acceptance from customers.
